We are GRUFOLPAWA


A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization organized exclusively for charitable, religious, and educational purposes with roots in the nation’s capital, since its inception in the late 1970s and comprises a diverse group of men and women of all ages, mostly, but not exclusively, Panamanians.

OUR MISSION is to present, preserve, and promote Panamanian folklore through its regional music and interpretive dance, wearing authentic Panamanian attire while providing the multicultural population of the Washington, DC metropolitan community with the spirit and diverse flavor of Panamá.

Panamanian Folkloric dance performances for public and private events with dancers dressed in native attire that can range from formal gala to peasants’ outfits from different regions of the republic.
